Embark Presents at Blaby DC Annual Green Breakfast

Chris Shaw from Embark CSR was delighted to make a presentation to the Blaby District Council Annual Green Business Breakfast on the 22nd March. The theme of the presentation was Kickstarting Your Sustainabilty Plans with a focus on how SMEs can start to plan their road map towards new zero. 

 

Chris discussed the scientific evidence underpinning the climate emergency drawing on the recent IPCC 6th annual report which highlighs the extraordinary impact human behaviour is having on our climate.  

 

The presentation then moved onto the practical details of creating a Net Zero Roadmap and the immediate changes businessees can introduce to reduce their heat and light consumption, manage waste and promote behaviour change.
